“What makes Detroit good is you can’t really hone in on one guy,” Rivers said. “Obviously in the two previous series we’ve had LeBron and Joe Johnson. Even though they had players around them, clearly they were the focal points.
“Where on this (team), Rip is probably No. 1 … but Chauncey (Billups), Tayshaun Prince, Rasheed Wallace, (Antonio) McDyess have been terrific, and now, if you add (Rodney) Stuckey into the mix, they have five for-sures and six guys on certain nights that they can go to.”
Detroit will take advantage of that depth and balance again – and their home-court advantage – to take the lead in this series.
Looking at the stats, Boston is currently 0-6 straigh losses at road..and if they dont won at Atlanta or Cleveland..they surely will have a lot lot work to do to beat the Pistons in their home court.
